Danville Head Start has a school-year Behavioral Assistant position available. Associate degree and/or Child Development Associate (CDA) with experience in PBIS and working with young children in a classroom setting preferred. High School diploma or equivalent and willingness to obtain a CDA within a year required. Responsibilities include: working 1-on-1 with pre-school children with challenging behaviors, facilitating small group lessons on social-emotional skills, and assisting in classrooms when needed. Additional requirements include flexibility, occasionally riding school bus, and team player.
