You work in a team environment, and must handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced automated environment; work in rotation; which could include:

Pack, Palletize, and Transport Product; operate and adjust production equipment; keep work area clean; monitor production; perform basic tests; quality checks, and record data via computer and/or paperwork. Must lift up to 50 lbs as needed; use a forklift or floorjack; comply with all regulatory and company policies & procedures. Most positions require continuous standing, walking, and lifting.

Food industry and manufacturing experience are preferred. Must be able to read, write and perform simple math calculations.

H.S. Diploma or GED is required; must pass a background check, physical & drug screen. Start Rate $13.00/hr.; may progress to $17.80 or more within 6 months.

Ateeco, Inc./Mrs. T's Pierogies, in Shenandoah has immediate openings on 3rd shift Sanitation. Hours are either Sun. to Thurs. or Mon. to Fri. (8 hours), with overtime as needed.

Must be self-motivated with excellent attendance and have good personal hygiene.

Position requirements: Clean, dismantle and reassemble automated production equipment in a warm, wet environment; lifting up to 50 lbs; walk and stand continuously 8 hrs. daily. Some duties include chemical cleansing, and use of high-pressure hoses for sanitizing production equipment and the plant. Mechanical aptitude and completing reports are necessary in performing this job.

The ideal candidate would have knowledge of food and chemical safety, forklifts, pallet jacks and have previous sanitation experience. A food industry background is a plus.

Must pass a background check, physical & drug screen, a HS Diploma or GED is required Excellent Salary and Benefits including 401k with match. Starting Rate / $13.00/hr and advances to $18.20/hr after six months.
